My journey began with a love of wine and an appreciation of the vineyard sites that create great wines. The early 1990s was an exciting time in Northern California as wine quality exploded higher in Sonoma County and Napa Valley. In 1999 I purchased forty unplanted acres in Bennett Valley. We had our first release of 150 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2005. We added Syrah in 2006, our first Chardonnay in 2007, and Pinot Noir in 2011. Starting with the 2014 vintage, we introduced vineyard designated wines from top sites in Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. Vineyard sources now include Platt Vineyard, Ritchie Vineyard, and Bacigalupi Vineyard for Chardonnay. For Pinot Noir we have Platt Vineyard, Ritchie Vineyard, and the Gap's View Vineyard. Our wines from the iconic Platt Vineyard are among the greatest wines being produced in California!
